Maths made visible
Compare lengths, continue patterns and build symmetrical shapes. Children count, estimate and explain relationships using their own structures.
CREATIVE WORKSHOPSWhat holds a bridge up? How does symmetry work? And what can we only achieve together? KAPLA turns these questions into discoveries: children build, test their ideas and create something that makes their contribution visible.

We confirm the date, group size and included services in an individual quotation.
For school leaders, teachers and early-years educators who want a memorable experience with clear learning goals. Younger children start with stacking, comparing and simple patterns. At school, these become challenges in geometry, structural stability, planning and explaining solutions. Your group’s age, experience and needs shape the starting point.

A wider base or a different arrangement? Change one detail and observe the result. This creates a simple investigation: prediction, experiment and conclusion.
Children describe positions, give building instructions and present their plans. Words such as above, between and parallel gain a tangible meaning.
Placing planks precisely calls for coordinated movement and attention. We adapt the task to keep it challenging yet achievable.
From the rhythm of a façade to an imaginary city, a shared theme leaves room for personal expression. Different solutions become part of the same exhibition.
Agreeing on the next step, sharing materials and asking for help create practical opportunities to cooperate. Afterwards, we reflect on the experience together.
You don’t need a finished project plan. A learning goal, the children’s ages and your available time give us a starting point — we work out the details together.
We agree on groups, space, schedule and support. The quotation sets out activities, materials, facilitation and travel costs.
A brief introduction leads into a practical task. We offer prompts, allow different solutions and adapt the challenge to the group.
Children present the result and describe their discoveries. Classroom follow-up can include sketches, measurements, descriptions or stories about the shared city.

The challenge: connect two banks without supporting the middle. Children sketch or demonstrate an idea, then build in small groups. They compare span and stability, adjust their structures and explain what helped. Their individual bridges can become part of a shared city.
This example is a starting point for discussion. We shape every workshop around the group.

A workshop introduces a topic, a project day connects several classes, and a project week allows time to plan and develop ideas. Beforehand, we agree on learning goals, timings, space and the roles of accompanying adults. If structures remain on display, we plan a protected area and a shared viewing. Guided dismantling and tidying up complete the experience.
Beforehand, we discuss access, work surfaces, communication, breaks and support needs. Tasks can include building, planning, counting and describing. Individual assistance and supervision are agreed with the institution; the workshop is not a therapy service.
From nursery through all school year groups. Content and difficulty are adapted to age and group.
The materials come to the school. After an introduction, children work in teams, from the initial idea and building to a shared final presentation.
We offer workshops from 45 minutes, project days and project weeks. The exact duration is agreed according to age, group size and goals.
We bring KAPLA planks and the equipment needed. A classroom or multipurpose room with clear, flat space is sufficient. Materials are planned around the project.
Creative and logical thinking, cooperation, motor skills, spatial awareness and science. Activities can connect with the curriculum.
Yes: architecture, art or a STEM project can be the starting point.
We are based in Makarska. For a workshop at a school, organisation or event, tell us the location; travel and arrangements are agreed individually.
According to duration, participant numbers and travel. A no-obligation quotation is prepared once the scope has been discussed.
